Menuing Strategies
Speaker(s):
The slides are available here:
- Formatted Slides (HTML with impress.js)
- Unformatted Slides (Structured markup only)
Drupal’s menu system, out of the box, makes a few assumptions that can make common design requirements challenging. In this presentation, we will explore those assumptions and how they might impact a site builder’s job. We will also explore community contributed modules that give site builders additional flexibility to meet common and custom site needs.
This presentation will help you if you’ve ever found yourself
- asking “why does only the first level of my navigation appear?”
- asking “when I click a navigation item that I know has pages underneath it, why doesn’t that item expand to show the subpages?”
- wanting to avoid a lot of trial and error
